Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid North Carolina SLP License or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or status as Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Proficiency with evaluations, direct therapy, documentation, and collaboration
- Ability to provide services across elementary and preschool age groups
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students according to IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate records in ECATS and ensure compliance with Medicaid documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Offer support and guidance to help students achieve educational milestones
- Rotate between two school sites, managing a diverse caseload and addressing a variety of speech and language disorders
