Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Possession of, or eligibility for, California state SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student growth in communication and language
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in a 1:1 setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Maintain detailed documentation of services in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input and updates on student progress
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology
