Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in California (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and experience with individualized student planning
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs and work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group formats
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and progress updates as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and professional best practices
