Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with children in elementary school settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse communication needs
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech-language services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date records in compliance with state and district regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to parents/guardians and staff
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
