Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) completed or in progress
- Experience serving school-aged children, specifically in elementary settings
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K–5 students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for eligible students
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in regular IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource for staff and parents by presenting strategies for effective communication support within the classroom environment
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education for the benefit of students
