School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Turlock, California
Support students’ communication growth through a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This position focuses on an elementary caseload and spans the academic year from August 2026 through May 2027. You’ll work collaboratively with educators and families to foster students’ language, speech, and communication skills in a vibrant and inclusive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California.
- Experience with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level, is highly valued.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and track student progress effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students.
- Write and manage Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and documentation for your caseload.
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure holistic student support.
- Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development as required.
