Empower Students Through Communication
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will help students build the communication skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Your expertise will support students in overcoming communication barriers while helping them gain confidence and independence in the classroom environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
• California Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorization for school-based practice may be required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct speech and language assessments for students across grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records, evaluations, and therapy documentation
