Qualifications and Skills:
- Current, active California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
- Experience or background in school-based SLP services (K–12 preferred)
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs), assessments, and a variety of therapeutic techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt services to diverse student needs across elementary, middle, and high school settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to K-12 students in both individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Create engaging, effective learning environments and materials
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with relevant state and district protocols
This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through the school year. You'll receive $55-$65 per hour, paid weekly.
