School Based Speech Language Pathologist Job

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services for students in a K–12 educational setting. The SLP will work closely with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and academic success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and special education teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and assistive technology when appropriate
  • Promote student engagement, participation, and communication confidence

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state SLP license and/or Department of Education certification
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
