A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a school setting located in Oak Park, IL. This position supports an early childhood program, offering a schedule of 2.5 days per week (approximately 18 hours) throughout the full school year. The role is ideal for an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is interested in working in a dynamic educational environment focused on early childhood development.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to early childhood students.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and therapy goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC credential.
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to supporting children with diverse speech and language needs.
