Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP in Wisconsin
- Prior experience within a school setting is highly desired
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support language and communication needs in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring and documentation
- Maintain accurate records and track student growth, complying with all district and state requirements
- Provide resources and strategies to families and caregivers to reinforce skills at home
