Make an impact working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis this upcoming school year. Two dedicated SLPs are sought to cover maternity leave at both the middle and high school levels for the fall semester. This rewarding opportunity will allow you to provide direct and virtual speech therapy services in a supportive educational environment from August through November.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Previous experience in school-based settings and/or pediatrics highly valued
- Comfort with teletherapy and proficiency using virtual service platforms
- Wisconsin state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Deliver both in-person and virtual (teletherapy) sessions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure student success
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school and federal guidelines
