- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds also considered
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs, delivering both individual and group sessions as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, write assessment reports, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering insight to help shape each student’s plan for success
- Serve as a resource to teachers and parents, sharing strategies to foster communication development
- Maintain thorough and compliant records in accordance with district and federal regulations
- Adapt intervention techniques to meet evolving student needs throughout the contract term
