This contract opportunity is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists who are ready to work on-site, supporting a vibrant K-12 student population near North Richland Hills, TX. With a full-time schedule of up to 37.5 hours per week, you’ll enjoy a balanced workload while focusing on meaningful outcomes for students in need of your expertise.
What you’ll bring:
- Current, active Texas SLP license (required)
- Experience delivering services in school-based settings
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred for enhanced communication with students and families
- Knowledge of the needs of K-12 students, including assessment and therapy planning
- Must complete TEA fingerprint background check prior to starting, with results typically in 10 business days
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students in a designated school
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student learning and communication goals
- Document services according to district and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
This on-site role (not open to virtual/remote) runs from August 10, 2026 through May 21, 2027. Locations to be confirmed upon assignment, generally supporting one school campus.
