Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Active state SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with children and adolescents of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to students in individual and group settings
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families, teachers, and administrators
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
- Serve as a resource on speech and language issues within the school community
