Step into the rewarding world of school-based speech-language pathology and impact young learners' lives at a daycare center near North Little Rock, AR. We're seeking a passionate SLP, available to start as soon as possible and continue through late May 2027. This is an onsite, contract-based opportunity supporting approximately 36–40 students, with the possibility of discussing one work-from-home day for the ideal candidate.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Arkansas SLP license required; CFYs are welcome to apply
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not mandatory
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to nurturing communication and language skills in early learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 36–40 young children in a daycare setting
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy plans according to students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure continuity of care and maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions
