This is a full-time, on-site assignment (no virtual or hybrid options) beginning July 29, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Assignments and caseloads will be tailored based on district needs, providing a dynamic and engaging experience throughout the academic year.
What you’ll bring:
- Completion of a Master’s Degree program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Nevada DOE Certification
- Active Nevada SLP License
- Strong preference for SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC); exceptional SLP-CFs may be considered
- Enthusiasm for working full-time in a school setting; part-time and virtual work are not options
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and potential assignments across different schools in the region
- Bilingual skills are valued and rewarded
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy and intervention to students from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and track ongoing progress
- Maintain accurate documentation to support student development and compliance requirements
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
