Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students during the 2026–2027 school year. This role may involve working across more than one school site, providing flexibility and the opportunity to serve a diverse student population.
The OT will play a critical role in evaluating students, developing treatment plans, and supporting their functional and academic success in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Caseload
- Student caseload and service distribution will be determined prior to assignment
Additional Notes
- There is potential to support or supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) if one is placed
- If a COTA is utilized, the OT’s responsibilities may focus more heavily on evaluations and supervision, with adjusted hours accordingly
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active state OT license (or eligibility)
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
