Pediatric School-Based SLP | North Hollywood, California
Seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist with expertise in pediatrics and school-based services for a contract position located in North Hollywood, CA. This full-time role supports students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade across two school sites for the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 school years.
Start dates are flexible: immediate availability through June 11, 2026, a summer session from June 17 to July 17, 2026, and a new school year beginning August 5, 2026, running through the end of the academic year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to students with mild articulation challenges
- Supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities exhibiting language deficits
- Implementing communication strategies including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems as needed
- Collaborating with educators and families to create individualized treatment plans
- Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with school requirements
Desired qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Proficiency in developing and facilitating speech-language interventions for diverse learners
