School Speech Language Pathologist - North East, MD

What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to support both elementary and secondary student needs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative spirit and flexibility to adapt across varied school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in elementary and secondary schools
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to design interventions that help students thrive academically and socially
- Maintain detailed progress notes and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services within the district’s set schedules (elementary: 8:15am–3:45pm, secondary: 7:30am–3:00pm)
- Advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
