Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Newton, KS

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Prior experience in a K-12 school-based setting highly desired
- Skilled in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering engaging therapy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both with students and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans and monitor progress toward set goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, documenting progress and making data-driven recommendations
- Provide support, strategies, and resources for faculty and families regarding speech and language development
