Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Ohio state licensure as an SLP (or ability to obtain before start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel between assigned district sites
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes and advocacy
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and evaluations
- Engage in multi-site service delivery, including scheduled days at locations in Crooksville, Marietta, and the Switzerland of Ohio area
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
