School Speech Language Pathologist - Newark, Ohio

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Ohio SLP license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders in K–5th grade or preschool students
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet each child’s individual education goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to deliver effective support
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and reporting on student progress
- Offer support and educational resources to parents and caregivers, facilitating carryover of strategies at home
