We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to fill two immediate openings, with potential for extended assignments as additional leave coverage emerges throughout the school year.
Assignment A spans 3–4 weeks and focuses on a caseload of approximately 53 students in grades K–4, primarily working with English as a Second Language students and some individuals in Integrated Co-Teaching classrooms. Assignment B is a 12–16 week placement with caseload details shared during interview discussions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and NJ certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows considered (district does not provide supervision)
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric and special education school settings
- Proficiency in conducting and participating in IEP meetings
- Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students as dictated by IEPs and referral needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting language, articulation, fluency, or voice disorders
- Document student progress, maintain case records, and update IEPs as needed
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Travel between assigned school locations, as indicated in the assignment
