Two openings are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists, with assignments that may potentially be extended or combined for a full academic year, depending on upcoming needs.
Role A: A 3-4 week assignment beginning 10/27/26, with a caseload of 53 students in grades K-4, including ESLS and students requiring support in inclusive classrooms. You’ll collaborate across three school sites, engaging directly in student growth and intervention.
Role B: A 12-16 week assignment starting 10/26/26, lasting through 2/15/27. Details on caseload will be shared during the interview process. This position offers opportunities to make a meaningful impact and foster student development.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New Jersey SLP license; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous pediatric experience required, ideally in a special education or school setting
- Comfort leading, participating, and reporting at IEP meetings
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Clinical Fellowship applicants considered, though supervision is not offered by the district
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech/language therapy and diagnostic services for assigned caseloads
- Develop, review, and implement IEPs in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Engage with parents and educators to share student progress and strategies
