Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Riverside, CA

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification in California
- Previous experience in school-based or healthcare environments working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Skills in implementing speech and language therapy under the supervision of an SLP
- Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and communicate with educators and families
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students as directed by a supervising SLP
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and adapting activities to individual student needs
- Record and track student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in school meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging therapeutic setting for all students
