Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in California required
- Ability to engage and support students across diverse age ranges
- Understanding of educational support for children with speech and language needs
- Professionalism, adaptability, and effective communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to assigned students under SLP supervision
- Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) by documenting progress and collaborating on goals
- Adapt materials and activities to each student’s unique needs
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to program guidelines
What to Expect:
- Immediate start and a long-term assignment through June 2027
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday)
- Serve in either an elementary/middle school or elementary/high school caseload
- Competitive compensation: $35–$45 hourly, paid weekly
