Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Newark, Delaware

This contract role focuses on providing speech-language services for a single school, primarily delivering group direct therapy, with additional individual and consultative services. Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with school-based pediatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with teletherapy and in-person service delivery
- Familiarity with IEPs and progress monitoring
- Strong collaborative and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy—primarily group, some individual—per IEP requirements
- Provide regular consultative services for students and staff
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings
- Write, implement, and monitor measurable IEP goals
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Adjust therapy approaches to accommodate a caseload of approximately 17–24 students
- Support students ranging from consult-only to more intensive group intervention
- Participate in professional training provided by the district
- Deliver services during school hours, estimated 15–18 hours per week, 7:30am–3:00pm
