Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification: Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to work effectively with diverse student groups and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for students with speech/language needs
- Document progress, maintain up-to-date records, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to team-based decision-making, and advocate for each student’s needs
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt therapy approaches to best serve students
- Stay current with continuing education and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
