Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Prague, Minnesota

Exciting opportunity for a speech-language professional to make a lasting impact in Minnesota! A contract role is available for a dedicated SLP, SLP-CF, or SLPA seeking to support students K–8 across two welcoming school sites. This position offers a balanced schedule of 30–32 hours per week, with flexible options to work either Monday–Thursday or Monday–Friday, according to your preference. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs until June 6, 2025, with no required summer hours—perfect for those valuing well-earned breaks. There is potential for contract renewal for the 2025–2026 school year, making this a great long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Holds or is eligible for Minnesota SLP, SLP-CF, or SLPA licensure
- ASHA CCC preferred, but strong clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings a plus
- Proficiency with teletherapy or willingness to learn is valued
- Able to work collaboratively across two sites, comfortably supporting a K–8 caseload
- Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and adaptability
- Energetic and compassionate about fostering student growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and assessments to K–8 students
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with current best practices
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and use innovative service delivery models such as teletherapy when applicable
