Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language pathology services across a diverse, close-knit district near Eden Prairie, MN. This position offers the flexibility of a direct hire or contractor arrangement, with a full-time schedule serving students from PreK through 12th grade. You’ll work closely with colleagues to support approximately 3–5 students per grade level, including a dedicated group of grades 5–12 at the district’s online school.
With all district schools located within a convenient distance, your impact will be felt throughout the community. As most of the student body is comprised of students of color, your expertise will contribute greatly to an environment that values inclusion and cultural awareness. The school year runs from September 9 to June 10, aligning with a standard academic calendar.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility
- Proven experience with pediatric and/or school-age populations
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience in special education settings
- Strong collaborative approach—comfortable working with general and special education teachers, families, and administrators
- Flexibility to provide services both onsite and virtually as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop IEPs and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
- Engage in ongoing professional development and foster inclusive practices
- Travel between schools in the district as needed
