Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP-CCC)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or SLPA licensure
- Valid state licensure in Louisiana
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student progress
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in individual or small group settings
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records of student progress
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required
- Assist in planning and delivering in-service training for staff, if needed (SLP-CCC)
- Support caseload management and deliver interventions as directed (SLPA)
