School Speech Language Pathologist - Waterbury, Connecticut

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Solid knowledge of IEP processes, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students, adapting methods as needed for diverse learning needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation to educators and families
- Travel between two elementary school sites as scheduled
