Assignments for this opportunity begin ASAP and continue through the end of the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Solid knowledge of IEP processes, diagnostics, and treatment planning
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students, adapting methods as needed for diverse learning needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation to educators and families
  • Travel between two elementary school sites as scheduled
