Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in New Castle, DE
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the next school year, working with students who benefit deeply from Speech-Language services. Multiple positions are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), Clinical Fellows (CFY), and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). You’ll be supporting elementary-age children and students with significant medical complexities and intensive support requirements.
This role is full-time, starting August 24, 2026, and continuing through June 16, 2027. Onsite presence is preferred, but hybrid options are available—with three days onsite and two days working from home possible for the right candidate. Openings span both elementary campuses and a specialized setting tailored to students with complex needs.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP or SLPA license
- ASHA CCC or completing CFY year for SLPs
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP settings
- Skills in teletherapy are an advantage
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication interventions to a diverse student population
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate effectively with educators, specialists, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Offer both direct and consultative support as needed
- Adapt therapy techniques to address varied student needs, including those with significant medical challenges
