Speech Therapist in Waterbury, CT
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Waterbury, CT area, with a contract running through June 9, 2026. The position offers a 35-hour workweek, with daily hours from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Connecticut.
- School-based SLP experience is essential.
- District fingerprinting and background checks required.
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be accepted.
- Flexibility to split time between two elementary schools; specific sites to be determined.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students in inclusive settings.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Engaging with families and school personnel to support communication goals.
