Speech Language Pathologist in New Bedford, MA

Key Qualifications:
- Active ASHA SLP certification (CCC) with a minimum of 2-3 years of post-certification experience
- Background in K-12 school settings, supporting a diverse range of communication needs
- Willingness to supervise up to 3 SLPAs, guiding clinical practice and fostering professional growth
- Strong organizational skills to manage and oversee up to 165 cases through SLPA supervision
- Proficient in conducting and interpreting Special Education Eligibility Evaluations (initial and re-evaluations)
- Skilled communicator comfortable presenting data at IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily activities and documentation completed by SLPAs, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
- Review and support all treatment, reporting, progress monitoring, and data collection performed by SLPAs
- Conduct thorough eligibility assessments, prepare comprehensive evaluation reports, and present findings in IEP meetings
- Write, update, and manage IEPs tailored to the unique needs of each student on your caseload
- Adapt quickly to changes, as assignments and caseload numbers may fluctuate throughout the school year based on enrollment and student needs
- Promote positive outcomes for students through evidence-based practices and ongoing professional collaboration
