Those equipped to supervise SLPAs and CFYs are encouraged to apply—however, ambitious new graduates are also welcome.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Preferably 3+ years in a K-12 school environment
- Ability to supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows is advantageous
- Bilingual Spanish and/or Portuguese skills are highly desirable
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Compassionate and student-focused mindset
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across K-12th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Offer guidance and mentorship to SLPAs and CFYs when necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences
- Foster a supportive, culturally responsive environment for every student
