School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Albany, Indiana
Make an impact supporting elementary students as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. As an SLP on campus, you’ll provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and actively participate in IEP meetings. You’ll have the chance to build strong partnerships with fellow educators, school staff, and families to ensure every student receives the support they need to succeed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Indiana SLP license and Department of Education certification are both required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience providing services in schools, ideally with elementary students
- Comfort with evaluating, developing goals, and delivering evidence-based therapy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students during 35 weekly hours
- Administer assessments to determine students’ abilities and progress
- Write and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and share insights with parents and staff
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, other service providers, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and student outcomes
