Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license required
- DOE certification (Department of Education for Indiana) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse students, staff, and parents
- Organized, flexible, and committed to student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students, addressing their unique communication needs
- Conduct evaluations, testing, and ongoing assessment of students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing updates and collaborating on service planning
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to promote optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
