Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in Washington State
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with preschool and elementary populations, is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable and eager to work in-person throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions tailored to each student
- Partner with teachers and staff to promote optimal learning environments
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with regulations
- Provide consultative support and training for educational staff and families
- Flexibly adapt to serve a caseload that may occasionally include middle and high school students
