Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility upon hire)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision making
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
- Administer assessments, interpret evaluation results, and create individualized goals and treatment plans
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to enhance students’ educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with all state and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional recommendations and progress updates
- Offer support for classroom modifications and assist in building awareness of communication disorders among staff and students
