Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of North Carolina
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK-5th grade students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other providers to support student success
- Document session notes, progress reports, and maintain compliance with all state, federal, and school regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Stay current with best practices in speech therapy for school-age children
