Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current WA state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience working in school settings strongly desired
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop individualized plans and effectively manage a caseload of students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans tailored to each student
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Document ongoing progress, maintaining all required records and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Offer support and resources for families and staff to maximize communication outcomes for students
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and ongoing professional development
