- Current Florida Department of Health licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- School-based SLP experience (preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Dedication to supporting K-12 students with diverse needs
- Ability to complete fingerprinting and JLA badge requirements within specified timeframes
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conducting initial and ongoing evaluations to guide individualized plans
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student success plans
