Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure (required)
- Prior experience serving school-aged children, preferably within a K–12 setting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Must be available to work on-site, as virtual/remote options are not offered
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting and background clearance, including obtaining a JLA badge
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech therapy services at a single assigned school campus
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations as requested
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
Enjoy a flexible schedule of up to 35 hours per week at one dedicated location, allowing for strong rapport-building with both students and staff. The assignment begins August 11 and runs through the end of May, offering continuous engagement throughout the academic year.
