Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 learners in a vibrant Florida school community. This position is based on-site, with placement at a single campus located either in Golden Gate City or Immokalee. As a member of an engaged special education team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech-language services for the 2026-2027 academic year.
You’ll work up to 35 hours per week, providing both direct therapy and conducting comprehensive evaluations as needed for a diverse caseload of elementary, middle, and high school students. Your expertise will foster communication skills essential for academic and social success.
What we’re seeking:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure
- Experience providing school-based speech-language services preferred, but not required
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration
- Commitment to working in a school setting with students from culturally diverse backgrounds
- Ability to complete and maintain time-sensitive fingerprinting and credentialing requirements for Florida schools
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students, individually or in groups
- Conduct thorough initial and ongoing evaluations to inform interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create and monitor IEP goals
- Maintain clear, detailed documentation and reporting in accordance with district requirements
- Participate in school and team meetings to support student growth
This contract aligns with the school calendar, beginning August 11, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027. You'll enjoy a fulfilling schedule at one dedicated campus, fostering relationships with students and staff over the school year.
