Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Murrieta, California

An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide coverage during a maternity leave from October through mid-December. This full-time position centers around working with a dedicated middle school caseload across three school locations, offering an engaging and rewarding setting to support students’ communication needs. The role is entirely onsite, giving you the chance to foster hands-on connections with students and collaborate directly with school staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Current California SLP licensure is required
- Experience working in a school-based environment, particularly at the middle school level
- Familiarity with pediatric speech-language evaluation, therapy planning, and goal development
- Strong knowledge of SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY practices, and SLP teletherapy approaches (preferred, though direct teletherapy not part of this role)
- Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple campuses
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective speech-language therapy sessions to middle school students
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate treatment records, and track student outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive care
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to enhance student success
- Manage schedules and service delivery across three campuses efficiently
