Speech Therapist in Chula Vista, CA
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners in a vibrant elementary school environment. This full-time, contract assignment offers the chance to make a meaningful impact with a diverse caseload of 46 students, including those in grades TK-5 and Middle School SDC receiving speech services. From August 5, 2024, through June 12, 2025, you’ll be working on-site, Monday through Friday (7:30 AM – 2:15 PM), providing expert speech-language pathology services.
What We’re Looking For:
- California licensure (must hold or be eligible for SLP credentials)
- CCC certification or eligibility for CFY supervision welcomed
- Ability to provide therapy, assessments, reports, and attend/participate in IEP meetings
- Comfort working with a range of elementary-aged students, including Speech IEP and MS SDC populations
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Experience in school settings or with similar student populations is a plus
- Bilingual skills are highly valued and will set you apart from other applicants
- Willingness to collaborate with teachers and families for student success
- Open to clinical fellows (CFY) and SLPA candidates if SLP role is not immediately filled
- Commitment to on-site work (teletherapy/hybrid not available)
Key Responsibilities:

- Participate as a proactive team member in IEP meetings
- Manage required documentation timely and with accuracy
