Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Michigan SLP license, required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Previous experience with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads preferred
- Solid foundation in assessment, individualized education program (IEP) development, and progress monitoring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for working with elementary-aged students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to 2nd and 3rd grade students
- Evaluate, assess, and develop treatment plans addressing receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Adapt strategies to promote access to curriculum and participation for all students
