Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Michigan SLP license required
- Current CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status accepted
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric and elementary school populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders for 2nd and 3rd grade students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans tailored to each student
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth
- Use creative and evidence-based strategies to engage young learners and maximize their success
- Provide consultation and support to educators regarding classroom modifications and communication strategies
