Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Flint, Michigan

This full-time, in-person opportunity is tailored for Speech-Language Pathologists ready to engage with a 2nd and 3rd-grade caseload. You'll play a pivotal role in helping children achieve communication milestones, working collaboratively with educational teams for the remainder of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) candidates considered
- Experience in pediatric or school-based speech therapy preferred
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to 2nd and 3rd-grade students
- Assess, identify, and treat communication disorders in a school environment
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate student progress
- Manage documentation, progress notes, and required reporting in an organized and timely fashion
- Engage students through evidence-based interventions and creative approaches
- Provide guidance and resources to families and educational professionals as needed
